CABIN FEVER! After all the years I spent in hospitals and nursing homes you'd think I'd be inured to cabin fever, especially since less than a month ago we'd traveled to Washington, DC in order visit our son. You'd be wrong !! After a week of reasonable weather I need some escape.

Joy and concentration radiated from her while diligently doing what can only be described as a very important job. She didn't know it but important jobs are scarce and she was lucky to have this one. Fortunately it didn't matter because she did it for the pure delight she felt while helping tend the garden.

It started by necessity and ended in ignominy. In my defense I point out that we were student poor and had to get food somehow or abandon our dreams of a college education. Besides it wasn't such a bad idea. It's just the execution that was somewhat flawed. Anyway we started a garden...
